The goal of the UdeM exemption scholarship program is to assist students from abroad with their academic pursuits. They may be eligible for a tuition fee exemption from what is typically assessed to foreign students beginning in the autumn of 2020. Scholarships will still be awarded for the winter, summer, autumn, and winter semesters of 2024–2025.

Encouraging the brightest students from across the globe to enroll at one of the best francophone research institutions on the planet is the aim of this program. Consequently, by enhancing the cultural richness of the Université de Montréal community, these foreign students will contribute to the accomplishment of our educational goal.
