Duties & Responsibilities

• Composes or edits program script to meet management or other requirements.
• Coordinates various aspects of production, such as audio work, scenes, music, timing, camera work, and script writing.
• Gives instructions to staff to schedule broadcasts and to develop and coordinate details to obtain the desired production.
• Reviews production to ensure objectives are attained.
• View a taped program to select scenes to be used for promotional purposes using video equipment.
• Listens to audio tape recordings to verify programs, scripts, or sound effects conform to broadcast standards using audio equipment.
• To obtain costumes, props, music, or other equipment or personnel to complete production.
• To represent the television network, acting as a liaison to independent producers of television series produced for network broadcast.
• Attend the production meetings.
• To review budgets and expenditures for programs in conformance with budgetary restrictions.
• Coordinate production details to produce live television programs from locations distant from the station.
• Sending daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the line manager.
• Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• High School Graduate- (Candidates with bachelor’s degree will be Preferred)·
• Media experience (candidates with relevant experience will be preferred)
• Innovation and creativeness
• Have computer knowledge and proficiency with MS Office programs.
• Ability to control and lead a team.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Dari, Pashto, and English.
