Eligibility

• Study program requirements: applicants for all Master’s programs at Leiden University, with the exception of:
  • Leiden Law School’s LLM (non-advanced) and MSc programs
  • Study programs start in February at the Faculty of Humanities, the Faculty of Sciences, and Leiden Law School.
• Nationality requirements:Applicants must have a non-EEA/non-EFTA* passport and may not be eligible for student finance via the Dutch government (student financing), with the exception of students applying for the programs listed below for which no nationality restrictions apply:
  • All LLM Advanced Studies programmes
  • MSc in International Relations and Diplomacy
• Academic requirements: In order to be considered for admission to the Master’s course, students must have had outstanding academic achievements from their prior study program(s). The fact that the student graduated in the top 10% of his or her prior study program serves as an indicator. Please take note that this information is only intended to show the level of competition; evidence of ranking is not necessary.
