Applications are now being accepted for the 2023 Lingnan University Scholarships. The Lingnan University Scholarships in Hong Kong application date is July 28, 2023. This is a government-funded initiative that will get going in the 2023–2024 school year. All eligible applicants are given full scholarships from Lingnan University, which include accommodation, tuition, and a portion of living and educational costs. Each scholarship is given out annually and is renewable for the duration of the program of study, pending continued academic excellence.

Lingnan University offers various scholarships to support high-caliber non-local students to pursue full-time UGC-funded (Government-funded) undergraduate studies at the University.  Successful applicants will be awarded one of the following scholarships:

•       Full Scholarship (covering tuition, hostel, and partial academic and living expenses)
•       Half Scholarship
•       Full-tuition Scholarship
•       Half-tuition Scholarship

Eligibility

• Each Scholarship is offered on an annual renewable basis and is tenable for a period of up to the normative duration of study, subject to continued outstanding academic performance.
• The Scholarship will be awarded subject to availability, successful applicants in the Early Round will be notified in January.  As such, applicants are encouraged to make their applications as early as possible.
• Applicants for self-financed undergraduate programs are not eligible for scholarships.

Selection Criteria

The scholarship will be granted to a student who has a strong academic performance and an impressive track record in community service. In the case of candidates with similar academic achievements, preference will be given to the candidate with a better-documented history of community service.
