The Imagine Students Airlift Foundation is offering twenty scholarships to female Afghan students who are enthusiastic about computer technology so they can study in Germany.

• We provide scholarships to a select few Afghan female talents. Please be aware that our funds are very limited, so as of now, we can only support a maximum of 20 talents per year with a scholarship.
• If you qualify for a scholarship, we will cover your tuition, visa costs, and travel costs, and we will also provide a life stipend. Please note that we cannot cover expenses for family members, only for you.

The goal of this initiative is to assist Afghan women in their pursuit of the fundamental human rights of life, liberty, education, and security.

Meet your mentor

First of all, you will not only have one but two mentors: one Afghan woman who has experienced the journey that is ahead of you already and is now living in Germany (like Azita) and a European mentor. Both will be by your side from the beginning, as soon as you are accepted into the program.

Select your study program and apply

Together with the support of your mentors and the whole Imagine team, you will select the right university and subject (as long as it’s in the broad field of computer science). You will then prepare for and take the TOEFL test before you finally submit your official papers to the German university.

How to Get a Visa

We support you in the whole visa process—financially, organizationally, and mentally. We know that the current situation is difficult, but we’ve helped folks move out of Afghanistan before and count on the Visa Pros from our friends at Localeze.

Eligibility

• You identify as a woman and cannot continue your education in Afghanistan
• You want to study in Germany and are ready to start anew in a new program
• You show an interest in or have experience in Computer Sciences
• You have completed at least four semesters of university-level education in Afghanistan
• You speak good English at level B2 or higher (test your skills here)
• You are ready to embark on the adventure of a lifetime: to live and study abroad
