Post-graduate researchers in any discipline (a master’s degree is the minimum qualification required) who intend to come to Switzerland to pursue research or further studies at the doctoral or post-doctoral level are eligible for the research scholarship (research fellowship, PhD, Postdoc).

All Swiss cantonal universities, universities of applied sciences, the two federal institutes of technology, and the four research institutes provide research scholarships for study or research. Only those who have been recommended by an academic supervisor at one of these universities for higher education will be taken into consideration.
