      Hong Kong is considered to be one of the top cities in Asia for studying abroad. Although it is ranked lower than Tokyo in terms of being a student-friendly city (it currently holds the eighth position in the world), Hong Kong has an edge over Tokyo when it comes to the diversity of its international student population.
      It is possible for international students to gain admission to universities in Hong Kong even without taking the IELTS test, but they must take pre-sessional English courses at the university. Additionally, students who have scored 70% or above in English in their class 12th exams may also be eligible for a waiver for the IELTS test.
