Qualifications and job responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing work plans according to the goals and strategy of the relevant department.
• Cooperation in technical survey and design in collecting necessary figures of the field.
• Assisting in the design of irrigation projects and technologies based on field survey figures.
• Design of electrical systems related to irrigation technologies (solar system, water pumps…)

  Control and review of completed and under-worked projects as necessary.

• Necessary cooperation with the relevant director in order to carry out with quality according to the design, standard and on time the project of the relevant directorate at the level of the country’s provinces.
• Checking the materials provided by the contracting parties to meet the technical specifications.
• Providing monthly, quarterly, annual and when necessary reports on related activities and achievements, in order to inform the relevant commander;
• Implementation of other duties entrusted by the competent authorities according to the laws, regulations and objectives of the relevant ministry.

Employment conditions (level of education and work experience):

• Having at least a bachelor’s degree in one of the fields: electrical and electromechanical engineering and a higher degree in the mentioned fields is preferred.
• At least two years of relevant work experience.
• Mastery of one of the official languages of the country (Pashto or Dari) and familiarity (writing and speaking) with English language;
• Computer skills in task-related applications.
