Qualifications and job responsibilities:

• Establishing benchmarks fundamentally;
• Reading longitude, latitude and altitude points by GPS.
• Collecting detailed field data by engineering means;
• Collecting images of the desired area and presenting a report of the work done from the area;
• Accurate drawing of longitudinal and transverse sections of the desired area;
• Drawing topographic maps (plating) of the area for the construction of buildings that require irrigation;
• Helping the effective design of irrigation projects and networks.
• Archiving topographic maps in printed and soft copy;
• Presenting monthly, quarterly, annual and when necessary reports on related activities and achievements.
• In order to inform the relevant commander;
• Implementation of other duties entrusted by the competent authorities according to the laws, regulations and objectives of the relevant ministry.

Employment conditions (level of education and work experience):

• Having at least a bachelor’s degree in one of the fields: civil engineering, hydraulics, geodesy,
• A construction engineer with a higher degree in the above fields is preferred.
• At least two years of relevant work experience.
• Mastery of one of the official languages of the country (Pashto or Dari) and familiarity (writing and speaking) with English language;
• Computer skills in task-related applications.
