| • Perform traffic optimization, including but not limited to 2G, 3G, and 4G, for all interfaces and provide a report to the CORE Manager. • Ensure that the HW, SW, and license capacities of the PS core elements meet marketing inputs. • Coordinate with the CORE back-office team for HW, SW, and license capacity usage of the PS Core Network Elements and optimize for better quality. • Provide the implementation schedule for the new deployment or dismantling of the SGSN, MME, SGW, PGW, PCRF, and DNs according to new conditions, a defined new network topology, or new technological systems. • Coordinate with the TX and DCN teams for network dimensioning, transmission needs, HW, SW, and license capacity needs of the PS core elements. • Ensure to update the current Database and diagram of PS CORE NE. • Create and publish the PS Core Network Planning Performance report on a weekly basis and make suggestions for improvement of PS CORE KPI • PS Optimization Engineer needs to make sure that the Optimization activities are met on time with the required deliverables and quality in a continuously changing environment. • Responsible for daily Optimization of the PS Core Network Elements and work to solve issues that might arise with the operation and field team. | |
