Reporting: Head of the Department of Islamic Culture
Goal: educating students with standard teaching, active participation in research, improving the quality of teaching, and improving the supply of educational services

Major duties and responsibilities:

Specific duties:

1. Advance theoretical and practical courses according to the division of time and the necessity of the relevant department.
2. Preparation and arrangement of teaching materials, lecture notes, and other supplementary teaching materials according to the bill.
3. Plan suitable proposals and programs to improve the teaching and research situation of the relevant department
4. Evaluating scientific works and conferences of scientific staff members and other scientists and expressing opinions.
5. Responsible participation in the improvement of the affairs of Bohanche and the institute for Scientific and teaching development.
6. Active participation in committees and involvement in academic affairs.
7. Evaluation of students’ work.
8. Improving one’s scientific level, especially in a specific field and acquiring work and job skills, writing textbooks, teaching materials, and conducting scientific research.
9. Having excellent behavior and ensuring good relations based on accepted values in the academic environment and observing and implementing the laws, regulations, and other legal documents in force in the assigned duties.
10. Implementation of other related duties assigned by the authorities, according to the laws, regulations, and objectives of the department.
Management duties:
1. Arrangement of course materials, course policy, operational and implementation plan, teaching improvement plan, monthly plan, monthly and end-semester report
2. Controlling students’ attendance during the relevant hours and recording it in the attendance book or database system.
3. Encouraging students to learn better courses and participate in academic, social, and cultural activities of the institution.
4. Guidance in education, teaching, and evaluation of students’ work.

Coordination duties:

1. Active participation in the committees, assemblies, and councils of the department, Bohenchi, institute, and if needed in the institute assemblies.
Employment conditions, education level, and work experience:
Field of Study:
– Possessing at least a bachelor’s degree in the field of Islam, and higher degrees are preferred.
Work experience:
– At least three years of relevant work experience.
– At least three years for a bachelor’s degree, two years for a master’s degree, and one year for a doctorate.

Required skills:

– Proficiency in one of the official languages of the country (Pashto or Dari) and familiarity with English.
– Mastery of computer programs in task-related programs.
