Job Description
The Stamps Scholars program offers a merit-based award that covers the entire cost of undergraduate study for four years. This award includes payment for tuition and fees, on-campus housing, a meal plan, University health insurance, textbooks, and a laptop allowance. Additionally, scholars have access to an enrichment fund of $12,000 that can be utilized for educational pursuits such as study abroad, undergraduate research, or unpaid internships. Prior approval from the Office of the Provost is necessary for expenses related to the enrichment fund.
The Stamps Scholarship offers various advantages, such as becoming a member of the Stamps Scholars communities both on-campus and nationally. It also provides funding for academic and scientific research projects, cultural and leadership programs, study abroad opportunities, and conventions and regional conferences. Additionally, recipients receive invites to online events and networking opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria
Early Decision I and Early Action applicants are automatically considered when they apply for early admission to UM by submitting all First-Year Admission Requirements by November 1.
Selection Process
- Stamps Scholarship semi-finalists must write a response to a given prompt.
- Finalists will be selected based on their applications, including responses to an essay prompt. After selection, they will be interviewed by the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation. Admission decisions will be made in late January.

Terms and Conditions
To maintain eligibility for the Stamps Scholarship, students must enroll in a full-time undergraduate program and complete at least 12 credit hours each semester during the fall and spring terms, with a minimum of 24 credit hours per academic year. It is important to maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 at the University of Miami, which will be calculated at the end of the second semester of attendance. Please note that the scholarship may be revised if the student receives any additional financial aid, such as grants, scholarships, or prepaid tuition and housing.
