It is a movement that supports and empowers people at all levels of society to take constructive action. a movement motivated by the UPG’s pledge to act now while we still can rather than postponing action until someone else steps forward. It is a movement that personifies the idea that everyone can take action to improve sustainability in the world.

UPG thinks that sustainability encompasses BOTH the conventional “green” issues, such as growing trees, recycling waste, managing energy, and protecting the oceans, AND other issues that have long been important to our societies, such as employment, education, health, and gender equality. UPG follows the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), for those who are not familiar with them.

The main event is the annual training program for 500+ young adults from around the world in #UPGSustainability Leadership. Along with activities for businesses, there are also events for institutions like schools.

Additionally, it is a completely financed program that is free for all young adults. You will receive a lot of training sessions over the program’s one-week duration.
