The BSE offers funding in order to attract and retain the most talented students.
Those who are offered admission to the BSE have proven they have what it takes to succeed in our demanding, intense Master’s programs. Additionally, the most gifted applicants are given a financial offer that pays all or some of their tuition costs.
Generous public and private donors as well as the BSE’s own funds support this merit-based funding.
We provide master’s students with an average of 800,000 euros in merit-based financing each year. 36% of those who have graduated have received full or partial funding for their education.

Types of funding that may be offered to candidates include:
- Waivers covering 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% of tuition fees
- A limited number of fully-funded scholarships (100% of fees and some additional stipend, depending on the scholarship)
The only candidates who will receive a financial offer have excellent academic records. Candidates will be considered for all funding possibilities if they submit a full application by January 15. Any funding that is still available will be considered for applications submitted after that date.

The Barcelona Graduate School of Economics, sometimes known as Barcelona GSE, is a private university that offers graduate study and research. The School provides a range of master’s degrees in data science, finance, and economics. It is one of the top Economics Departments in the world according to RePEc.
There is no separate application process for scholarships or tuition waivers.
Candidates who submit a completed application to the Master’s programs will automatically be considered for all available funding opportunities.
