An independent, non-governmental, non-profit, non-political, and non-sectarian organization called Just for Afghan Capacity and Knowledge (JACK) works in Afghanistan in the areas of capacity building, education, and health with the goal of enhancing livelihoods and reducing poverty. The company has been reregistered with the Ministry of Economy and given registration number 316 for the date January 18, 2006. The group collaborates with other line ministries, NGOs, INGOs, and the community of donors. USAID, the UN, OCHA, and Ministries are our donors.

Job Description:

The entire project efforts with regard to mobilization and awareness-raising activities at the community level are under the control of the Provincial Community Mobilizer for the Basic General Literacy project financed by UNESCO. The project aims to provide literacy opportunities for Afghans over 15 years old who were previously excluded from education in order to equip them with the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values necessary to be productive, healthy, and responsible citizens prepared to contribute to the welfare of society as well as with the necessary tools for viable employment in the domestic market. Building the skills of literacy facilitators in the target districts will be the main method used to accomplish this.

The provincial community mobilizer’s primary duties include the following:

Specific Responsibilities:

selected among community members with at least a secondary education;
Help UNESCO/JACK identify and choose literacy instructors and students based on predetermined criteria.
will be in charge of creating village literacy committees.
Make sure the fundamental general literacy courses are visible and under observation.

Tasks of inter-organizational relation

advocates for gender equality and against prejudice based on one’s racial, political, or religious heritage.
Attend the conferences, workshops, and seminars that the PED, UNESCO, and the education program arrange.
