Qualifications and job responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing work plans according to the goals and strategy of the relevant department.
• Cooperation with technical survey and design engineers in collecting the necessary figures of the field.
• Assisting in the design of irrigation projects and technologies based on field survey figures.

  Control and review of completed and under-worked projects as necessary.

• Complete identification of all types of water management buildings.
• Assisting in the design and maintenance of hydrotechnical buildings in irrigation networks and projects.
• Presenting monthly, quarterly, annual and when necessary reports on related activities and achievements, in order to inform the relevant commander;
• Implementation of other duties entrusted by the competent authorities according to the laws, regulations and objectives of the relevant ministry.

Conditions of employment:

Field of study: Having a minimum bachelor’s degree in one of the fields (civil engineering, hydraulics, hydrotechnical buildings, water resources management) from national and international educational institutions inside or outside the country, higher degrees in the aforementioned fields are preferred. .

Work experience:
Having at least one year of relevant work experience for a bachelor’s degree from national and international institutions inside or outside the country.

Necessary skills:
Proficiency in one of the official languages (Pashto or Dari) and familiarity (writing and speaking) with English;
Computer skills in task-related applications.
