Research Training Program International (RTPi) Scholarships

Research Training Program International (RTPi) Scholarships are funded by the Australian Government and awarded to international students on the basis of academic merit and research potential.  These scholarships include a stipend (living allowance) and a fee offset for a limited time.

Value

The total stipend is at least $32,500 per annum (2023 stipend rate) paid fortnightly over a maximum of 3 years for Ph.D. students and over a maximum of 2 years for Master of Research students.  The total fee waiver is for a maximum of 3 years for Ph.D. students and over a maximum of 2 years for Master of Research students.  This scholarship includes Overseas Student Health Cover (Singles Cover) with UniSA’s preferred provider BUPA where the successful applicant requires a student visa.  A thesis allowance is available.  Please read your offer carefully to ensure that it is right for you.
